Detailed description of Plantation Bay, Club de Bonmont Golf Course
Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club is a Private, 36 hole golf facility located in Ormond Beach, Florida. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses, they are The Club de Bonmont Golf Course and The Prestwick Golf Course.
Club de Bonmont at Plantation Bay first opened for play in 1986. The course was designed by Lloyd Clifton.
The signature hole is #16 a 184-yard, par-3, featuring a rock-lined peninsula green.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,204 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,894 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 10, a par-5 that plays to 575 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 184 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 462-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 13, a 239 yard par-3.

As a member of this course for more than ten years, it is in the worst condition I have seen. Fairways are sparse, greens are inconsistent, and bunkers do not have consistent sand texture. It has gotten to the point of cancelling our membership is a possibility.
